Integrations are the connections myClerkBook makes to services you already use. There are three of them, they all live on the Integrations screen in your settings, and each can be disconnected at any time. None of them is a bank. There is no bank connection on this screen, on any plan, and no facility to add one.

A mailbox

Gmail, Outlook or iCloud, read only, feeding receipts into parsing.

Your own model key

Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, for running the Agent on your own billing.

WhatsApp

One number, used for both alert delivery and chatting with the Agent.

Connecting a mailbox

A connected mailbox feeds incoming financial mail, receipts, invoices and payment confirmations, into the same parsing pipeline an uploaded file goes through.
1

Choose a provider

Gmail and Outlook connect by signing in with that account and granting read access. myClerkBook asks for reading permission and nothing else, so it cannot send, delete or file your mail.
2

iCloud connects a little differently

Apple offers no equivalent sign-in for third-party mail access, so iCloud is connected with an app-specific password you generate on your Apple ID account page. myClerkBook never receives your Apple ID password itself.
3

Parse from the Email screen

Each book has an Email screen listing synced messages with sender, subject and a snippet, each carrying a Parse action. The entry it creates belongs to the book you were in.
Up to five mailboxes, counted across all three providers together. Mail parses come out of the same daily allowance as uploaded files, so there is one number to keep track of rather than two. See AI Powered for what the allowance is on each plan. A connected mailbox is also selectable as a destination for an alert, on top of the address you registered with.

Your own model key

The myClerkBook Agent runs on an in-house model by default, with a monthly allowance included in the add-on. Connect an Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key instead and the Agent runs on that key, under your billing, and draws none of the included allowance.
  • It applies to the Agent only. Document parsing always runs on the in-house model, and your key is never used for it.
  • Keys are stored encrypted and can be removed at any time, which returns the Agent to the included allowance.
  • WhatsApp chat always runs on the in-house model, whether or not you have a key connected.

WhatsApp

One number, linked once, doing two jobs. Chat over WhatsApp is ask mode and read only. It answers questions and surfaces figures. It creates nothing, changes nothing and deletes nothing, and the tools that would let it do so are not available on that surface at all. It also works across your whole account rather than inside a single book. To create an entry, a widget or an alert by asking, use the Agent inside the product. SMS delivery for alerts uses the same linked number and is Premium, alongside WhatsApp delivery.
