What counts as an entry

A shipped change that you can see or use. That is the whole test.

• Features and capabilities, when they become available to you rather than when they are finished internally.
• Changes to behavior you already rely on, including anything that moves, is renamed, or stops working the way it used to.
• Fixes worth knowing about, meaning the ones where you may have hit the problem and wondered whether it was you.

What does not go here

• Plans. What is coming lives on the roadmap, and keeping the two apart is what lets you trust this page as a record of fact.
• Incidents and downtime. Those go to status.myclerkbook.com, which carries uptime and incident history.
• Internal work. Anything you cannot see is not a change to you.

• Synced email moved into the app properly. The mailbox page now renders inside the app shell, with the rail and top bar it had been missing.
• Sync now. Trigger a mailbox sync yourself instead of waiting for the scheduled one. It is scoped to your own connected mailboxes.
• Cancel a queued document. A document still waiting to be read can be canceled from the parse queue.

• Email parsing works. The Parse control on the synced-mailbox surface had no route behind it and returned an error every time it was pressed. It now reads the message and hands the entry back for you to confirm, exactly as an uploaded document does.
• Profile is now Account. The settings section was renamed to match what it contains, and the separate Security page folded into it. Sign-in methods, passkeys and connected accounts all live in one place.

• Connected mailboxes are a Premium capability, stated consistently wherever the feature appears.
• Alerts by SMS and WhatsApp now run on a new delivery provider, with no change to how you configure them.
• Documents no longer get stuck. A parse interrupted mid-read could be left claimed forever, unreachable by both reparse and the retry sweep. Claims are now released and the sweep runs on a schedule.
• Onboarding date handling. The “months ago” option resolved against local time and could land on the wrong month near a boundary.
• Google Analytics and Attio are named in the privacy policy as sub-processors.

• The ledger table, rebuilt. Typed column headings, a frozen record region, status dots, and calculation slots that total a column in place.
• Search, sort and filter as one row. Persistent search, a sorted-by menu, and every filter behind a single chip.
• A one-field way to add an entry. Type an amount, get an entry; everything else is optional.
• The sidebar gained labels, occupancy states and a dedicated settings mode.
• Offline behaves predictably. The installed app now has a deterministic offline shell and caches only what is safe to cache.
• Collaboration toolbar, one-tap address copy, and a contained danger zone in settings.

The largest release so far.

• Collaboration. Invite people to a book by email, with roles and scopes, an activity trail, and restore.
• Statement import. OFX, QFX and CSV read deterministically, with duplicate detection. No AI is involved, and its rows count against the daily entry allowance.
• Synced mailboxes feeding the parse pipeline.
• Billing you can read. Allowance meters, your upcoming bill, invoices, and a hand-off to the payment portal.
• Editor-grade dashboard arrangement, with group totals converted into your base currency.
• The vendor catalog and smart autocomplete on both entry surfaces.
• Onboarding steps 3 and 4, and guided first entries.
• Setup tasks on the dashboard, wired to real progress rather than a checklist that never ticks.
• Live updates. Balances, parses and billing state update without a reload.
