The lower half of every book is a grid of panels you put there. Each one is built from a template, configured to the groups and the period you care about, and moved or resized until the book reads the way you think. No widget arrives on its own. Onboarding places a starter set so a new book is not an empty grid, and every one of those is a real instance you can configure, move or delete like any other.

Building a dashboard

Open the catalog

The Widgets screen inside a book lists every template, and every one of them is available on every plan.

Add an instance

From the catalog, or from Add widget on the dashboard itself.

Configure it

Give it a title, choose the groups or counterparties it covers, set its period, and pick the chart type where the template offers a choice.

Arrange the grid

Switch the dashboard into edit mode, move panels into place, resize them, remove what you do not want, and save. Every one of those actions is also reachable from the panel’s own menu, so the grid never requires a drag. It snaps to two columns on a tablet, three on a desktop and four on a wide screen.
A widget’s period follows the book by default. The period selector at the top of the dashboard governs every panel that has not been given one of its own, so switching from this month to this quarter moves the whole board at once. Pin a period on a single widget when you want it to stay put while the rest moves. Panels update as you work. Saving an entry redraws the widgets that cover it, with no reload and nothing to refresh.

The creation engine

The creation engine is Premium, and it is the difference between placing a template and composing a panel that no template defines: a data connector, a visualisation and customizations, saved as a widget of your own.

Color reinforces the label

Chart color is never decorative here. Income is green, expenses are red, net balance is blue and cash flow is violet, consistently, on every panel and every book. A category breakdown cycles through a fixed set of eight colors, so a group keeps its color as you read across the board. Every panel names what it shows, so the color reinforces the label and the figure rather than carrying the meaning on its own. A panel with nothing to show for the chosen period says so plainly and offers you the shortcut to add an entry, rather than drawing an empty chart.
