Email notifications

Email alerts are available on every plan, sent from notifications@myclerkbook.com. There are eight types:

The weekly and monthly summaries give you a week- or month-in-review without logging in — a passive way to stay on top of your finances.

SMS & WhatsApp

Premium users can receive any of the eight notification types via SMS and WhatsApp through Twilio, configured per notification type. You might keep weekly summaries on email but route day-before expense alerts to SMS, for example. A configurable emergency alert threshold can trigger an SMS regardless of time for a critical event — a single transaction or daily net balance crossing an amount you set.
To receive WhatsApp alerts, link your number under Account → Connections.

Configuring notifications

Set your channels and types during onboarding, and adjust them any time per dashboard under Settings → Notifications. Because preferences are per-dashboard, you can route Client work and Personal alerts differently.
